These strips are dyed a darker color at the tips of the hair. The first five colors with FS prefix are designed for, but not limited to the construction of flesh flies for use in areas, such as Alaska where trout eat copious amounts of decaying salmon flesh. The colors with a prefix of TT were designed for use as Zonker strips for tying imitations of bait that has a definite dorsal strip, or darker dorsal area. The strips can also be wound on a hook to create some unusual bunny buggers.
The standard strips are 1/8" wide and include 4 strips per package, approximately four feet total.
