Cortland 444 Classic Clear Camo Intermediate Fly Line

Cortland Classic 444 Clear Camo fly lines are made with a supple, cystal clear intermdiate coating over a subtly mottled monofilament core that is extruded and dyed with earth-tone tints. The result is one of the most popular and effective clear intermediate fly lines for stillwater angling in the world. Clear Camo coloring blends in with any sub-surface environment to virtually disappear in the water while slowly sinking at 1.50" to 2.00" per second. Supple in the coldest water, it's ideal for shallow water fishing for spooky trout. A welded front loop makes rigging leaders fast. For the discerning angler in the Northwest or anywhere picky trout swim this is a must have line. From stripping buggers on Oregon's Cascade lakes to swinging soft hackles on most creeks and rivers, this is the most effective line we have found for fishing to picky fish in a variety of situations. A very good choice for both fall and spring months when temperatures are perfect for both trout and bass in shallow water.
