Dubbing Brushes

Enrico Puglisi Dubbing Brushes add speed and precision to tying large fly patterns, such as steelhead and saltwater flies. These dubbing brushes are constructed of synthetic and/or natural fibers captured between two strands of ultra-fine stainless steel wire that are twisted together. In construction, dubbing brushes have a lot in common with chenille, but dubbing brushes are sparser and much larger in diameter. Some dubbing brushes are three inches in diameter and are made with soft flowing fibers that swim in the currents. Dubbing brushes are now an intrinsic part of tying many new-age steelhead intruder type flies.
