February 10, Saturday, 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Steelhead Tube Fly Symposium
Steelhead guides/Fly Tiers: Brian Silvey, Bruce Berry, and Mark Bachmann will each tie a couple of their favorite winter steelhead tube flies. Tying your flies on tubes has a lot of conveniences in allowing hooks and hook holders to be changed at will, so that the colors and the personality of a fly can be customized instantly to meet changes in fishing conditions. The The Fly Fishing Shop in Welches, Oregon was the first shop in the Pacific Northwest to promote tube flies. This same shop was also the first Pro Tube dealer in North America. The three pro tiers at this program have many years of experience tying tube flies and fishing for winter steelhead. The flies tied by the pros at this program will be put into a Plan D Pocket Tube Plus Fly Box and raffled off at the end of the program. No charge for raffle tickets, but you will have to be present to win.
