The "go-to" trout taper. With a modest front taper and standard head length, this line does it all, good for all aspects of trout fishing. When fishing big rivers most of the year it is handy to have a line you can see, and the trout don't care. This is a great line for nymphing, or pitching hoppers against the bank from a drifting boat. It is also good for any fishing trip after an extended lay-off (heaven forbid), because a line that you can see is easier to cast.
